There’s a live-action Dilbert movie in the works, says Pajiba. Phoenix Entertainment is readying the project, to be directed by, appropriately enough, someone with office experience: Ken Kwapis. Dilbert has been a funny pages staple since 1989 and depicts life’s ups and downs for an office worker. It was previously adapted into a cartoon in 1999 with Daniel Stern as Dilbert and Chris Elliott as Dogbert.
Ken Kwapis has directed multiple episodes of The Office, as well as He’s Just Not That Into You, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and the upcoming Everybody Loves Whales, starring Drew Barrymore and John Krasinski. No word on any stars yet.
