Atlantic Records released details of the Avatar soundtrack album, and hidden amongst the info was this gem:

“Avatar: Music From the Motion Picture” will be highlighted by the film’s end title song, “I See You,” performed by multiple Grammy Award-nominated singer Leona Lewis, and produced by James Horner and Simon Franglen, the team behind Titanic’s blockbuster theme song, “My Heart Will Go On.” A companion video — directed by Jake Nava — is currently in production.

First up: was Jake Nava hired for his name?

Second up: Leona Lewis is a winner of the British talent show X-Factor, and she’s a warbly pop singer in the modern mold.

Third up: Wait, Avatar is this kind of movie? Of all the things I’ve thought Avatar might be, I never imagined it to be a weird mash up of Aliens and Titanic.
