Tab Hunter is set to tell his story on screen in Tab Hunter: Confidential, based on his 2005 autobiography of the same name. The tell-all, in which he discussed keeping his homosexuality secret so he could be
sold as a heterosexual matinee idol, will be directed by Jeffrey
Schwarz. Schwarz has directed Hollywood docus including Wrangler:

Lauren Graham is set to replace Maura Tierney on the midseason dramedy, Parenthood, for NBC. Tierney was forced to drop out of the project due to undergo treatment for breast cancer. The Imagine TV/Universal Media Studios dramedy, based on the 1989 film
of the same name, revolves around a large family in Northern
California. NBC had planned a fall preem for the show but pushed it to
a post-winter Olympics midseason start after Tierney’s illness delayed
production. Graham will play a single mother with two teenage kids who moves back in with her parents to restart her life. Graham is previously known for her roles in Gilmore Girls and Bad Santa.

Parker Posey has joined the feature, Highland Park, for director/producer Andrew Meieran of Bureau of Moving Pictures shingle. The film, which stars Danny Glover, focuses on a high school
faculty in a struggling community. In the story, a teacher wins the
lottery and uses the largesse to restore the local library and
energize the community in the process.
Posey will play Shirley Paine, one-time homecoming queen and now
the opportunistic mayor of Highland Park. Posey also has Happy Tears upcoming for Roadside Attractions.
Melissa Leo, AnnaSophia Robb, Brad William Henke and Anthony Keyvan have joined the cast of indie drama The Space
Between. The story
follows Montine (Leo), a flight attendant grounded in Texas with an
unaccompanied Arab-American boy (Keyvan) on the morning of
September 11, 2001. They desperately head east when she discovers
his father works at the World Trade Center. Travis Fine (The Others) is writing and directing for TSB Films.

girl who share a preoccupation with mortality. Bryce Dallas Howard is producing with father, Ron Howard, and Brian Grazer. Dallas Howard’s friend, Jason Lew, is scripting.
