After planting the Resident Evil seed in 2002, Paul W.S. Anderson moved on to direct other projects, but still wrote and produced both of the sequels. The prospect of Milla Jovovich bursting forth from the screen in three zombie-murderin’ dimensions though, has brought the hackteur back to the franchise for another round.
The film, Resident Evil: Afterlife is aiming for a 3D!!! release late next year, and will retain the entire creative team from the first trilogy’s worth of films.
