Earlier today I ate at one of my favorite places. The Texas Roadhouse. If you have a Logan’s nearby where you live, this is essentially the same. Only better. I’ve eaten at Logan’s a total of two times, and that was last year. Vanessa doesn’t care for the place either.
I hadn’t eaten all day, so when I went into town to pick up some comics from the shop I go to, I gave her a call, and she was hungry, and the Texas Roadhouse is near where she works. I swung by to pick her up, and the next thing I know, I’m ordering a delicious steak and grilled shrimp combo. I’ve had it before, but this time it was just really DELICIOUS. I savored every bit. Not to forget that I got two sides. A Caesar salad, and a cup of chili. Great appetizers. The cost doesn’t come out to bad either. Especially for being able to get a cup of chili (which costs quite a bit at some other nearby places since it’s usually an extra).
Of course like Logan’s they have pails of peanuts that you can eat like if you’re at a bar, and you just toss them on the floor. Vanessa had a laugh the last time when I was just tossing the shells on the ground with no care and making a mess like I was a 3 year old kid. Great place to go to if you live here in Texas like me, or if you’re ever visiting.
