The newest trailer for Rage has just dropped at QuakeCon, and while id Software’s postapocalyptic title looks fantastic it’s hard not to feel like you’ve seen this all before. Check it out-
So yeah, a post apocalypic future with mutants and shady characters and lots and lots of firearms isn’t anything new these days (and we’ve got Borderlands on the way as well), but perhaps Rage‘s lean towards Road Warrior-style car combat will sweeten the deal. Besides, it’s id Software- if any company has earned the right to be noticed for their first person shooters, it’s them.
