Above are some stuffed animals from Where the Wild Things Are that I found the last time I was at my parent’s house. I had another one of the Wild Things too, but I’ll be damned if I can even remember their names. In fact, I can’t remember much about the book at all, just that I used to dig it a lot growing up (even though I was always more of a In The Night Kitchen kid)- but still, the characters always stuck with me.
Yahoo’s got the exclusive second trailer for Where the Wild Things Are up, and this time they’re set on introducing you to these strange creatures, who they are and what they do. Their look still astounds- has it been that long since we saw a children’s movie with practical effects done so well? Nothing looks so real and amazing when the kid’s right there interacting with all of them.
