You can tell a lot about a person from the miscellaneous collection of DVD’s stacked next to their television set. Every film we own says a little bit about us, whether we’d like it to… or not. So I’ve decided to turn this uncompromising insight on myself by analyzing my entire DVD collection… one impulse buy at a time.

DAY 5: PANIC ROOM

WHAT IT’S ABOUT:

Bella from “Twilight” (resembling a nerdy high school boy) gets stuck in a closet with Jodie Foster. Meanwhile, Jared Leto (doing his best Allen Iverson impression), Forrest Whittaker and a country singer use various “MacGuyver-like” tactics to ruin the house’s resale value.

WHY I BOUGHT IT:

Well… it is a SPECIAL edition. Eighteen discs of bonus material, detailing everything from the parking situation to the craft service tent. Limitless documentation on how to take a simple movie concept and just complicate the @$%^ out of it.

WHAT IT SAYS ABOUT ME:

That I secretly long to be stuck in a confined space with Kristen Stewart while sociopaths try and interrupt my seven minutes in heaven. A small price to pay if you ask me.

Until next time… Hit me back.
