I have one pair of tickets (you and a guest) to give away to a special screening of The Hurt Locker at the Egyptian Theater in LA tomorrow night at 7:30pm. Not only will you get to see the wildly acclaimed new Iraq movie for free and early, you’ll get to be there for a Q&A with director Kathryn Bigelow and stars Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Brian Geraghty and screenwriter Mark Boal.
This is part of a special Bigelow weekend at the Egyptian – they’re showing Strange Days and Near Dark on Saturday (Lance Henrikson in the house for that!) and Point Break and K-19: The Widowmaker on Sunday, with Bigelow in person at all the shows. It’s also your first chance to see a movie that has been described to me as intense, exciting and mind-blowing. I can’t wait to see it myself.
