I’m not sure where these three clips originally came from, but YouTube is now the proud host of three brief scenes from Ingrlourious Basterds. They can’t be embedded, so you’ll have to go to the source to see the goods. See ’em now before they’re gone. (The username, Reelbasterd, suggests, but only suggests, that they’re ‘official’.)
You’ll see three things: a brief glimpse into the opening sequence, in which Nazi Colonel Hans Landa describes the nature of Jews, a short interrogation that just might lead up to the Eli Roth baseball bat sequence seen in the trailer, and a moment between Brad Pitt’s Lt. Aldo Raine and Diane Kruger’s Bridget von Hammersmark that actually gives away a little info about what the plot’s really about.
Check out the clips at YouTube; if you want to remain relatively spoiler-free, skip the one called ‘The Vet’. Inglourious Basterds premieres tomorrow at Cannes. That’ll be the first time anyone but Tarantino and his core crew have seen the film.
Thanks to Ben for the tip.
