I love the fact that so much material from Cannes is quickly coming online. We knew the opening ceremony featured a montage of clips from many films in the festival, and now you can watch it all thanks to Canal+. Here you’ll find a great clip of Heath Ledger in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, as well as some slight bits from Haneke’s The White Ribbon, Gaspar Noe’s Enter the Void (only one shot, sadly) and quite a bit more.
No new Inglourious Basterds footage, sadly, but maybe some of the unfamiliar films will catch your eye. I’ve already been reading a lot about Fish Tank, and the clip here (it’s the second one in the lineup) makes me want to catch it.
