Above is concept art for the completed Devastator, the Constructicon who is made out of various pieces of construction equipment. What I love about this character is that he is specifically designed to appeal to 7 year old boys who are fascinated by earth movers, and yet 30 year old men have been salivating for his appearance in a Transformers movie. Wish granted! You can put away those Bob the Builder DVDs now, fanboys.

The trailer for Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen will premiere this weekend in front of Friday the 13th; you’ll probably see it before I do, as it won’t be online for a week after that. I expect we’ll see images of these two robots beating the energon out of other robots.
