Well, there’s some good news and bad news in this little blurb here; the good news is Warner Bros., after taking over New Line Cinema and Picturehouse, is finally releasing Amusement; the bad news is the suits have seen fit to kick Amusement to the curb and dump it direct-to-dvd.
Too bad. I was actually looking forward to seeing some original horror on the big screen for a change.
Anyway, for those of you interested in checking out this movie about three intertwining tales of terror a la Pulp Fiction or Go! the details for the January 20/09 release are as follows:

New Line Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($27.95) and Blu-ray ($35.99) releases of Amusement which stars Katheryn Winnick and Tad Hilgenbrink. This new horror will be available to own from the 20th January. At this point, no extra material will be included.
Directed by John Simpson, written by Jake Wade Wall and starring Katheryn Winnick, Jessica Lucas and Laura Breckenridge, Amusement centers on three gals being stalked by a killer with a grudge that extends back to their childhoods. Sinister eighteen-wheeler and creepy clown included.
