The Link Between Excessive Masturbation And Going Into Politics.

I voted for McCain and Palin last year.

Going into the CHUD chatroom on election night, I expected it to be a frenzy, and to be crucified for voting for the opposition. I was happy to find that I was welcomed. One Chewer even said that it was ok, as long as I was voting for the person I believed in. That is not to say that I don’t believe in President Obama. He won the election, and I believe that he should be given a chance to bring us out of this funk that we are in.

My political beliefs tend to lean towards the right, and this has been ever since I was in college, and met some bizarre people, including one guy who was a major 9/11 conspiracy theorist, and believed that one of the hijakers had survived the plane crash into the World Trade Center, and had parachuted down into the streets. I was at one time a liberal thinker, and now I consider myself a moderate Republican. I’m never going to go towards the insanity that is the extreme right wing, nor will I go back to the liberal thinking that I once subscribed to.

I don’t like to mix politics with anything that I do on the CHUD message boards. I feel that I’m there to talk about movies, music, even my personal life, but I’d never go into a political discussion. That I save for a casual conversation, or a mere mention at the most. Although I am glad that people on the message board are not quick to judge. This leads me into the rest of my little rant.

I’ve seen some huge arguments on the boards that have been attributed to politics, especially with the last 2 years, and even now. Granted, most of the people that get crapped on deserve it for being thickhead, and looking for a bone to pick. I’m glad though that the boards are so diverse, and that just about everyone is a sensible individual who can transcend political thinking, and which party they belong to and leave that at the door, while discussing the latest action movie, or Chudsploitation article. 

This reasoning is why I love CHUD, and it’s message boards. Other boards would most likely devolve into the Lord Of The Flies during a political season, or have people persecuted just for which political party they belong to. CHUD’s message board’s will always be my go to place when I want to talk. I’m also a member of other boards, but I haven’t posted there in a long time. I’m a monogamous individual, and I’m going to stick with what I like.
