Gaspar Noe is one of my favorite filmmakers right now, and I couldn’t be more excited for his latest kooky romp, Love, which is set to debut at Cannes in a couple of days. And now we’re getting a taste (hm) of the mood and atmosphere of the film with a couple of posters, although I can almost guarantee you you’ll be seeing them in the lobby of your local theater any day now. Okay, now, seriously, this next one is as NSFW as it gets. I’m giving you guys fair warning here, so click the image below if you’re into that kind of thing.
Did I mention that Love was also post-converted to 3D? It was! Hey, incidentally, remember that shot in Enter the Void where the camera is inside the woman’s vagina and the penis is thrusting at the audience? That was fun.
Honestly though, I love the saturation and the color. It looks like some awesome 70s smut. Noe himself said, “with my next film I hope guys will have erections and girls will get wet.” Truly, a noble goal. He also said in an interview that he cried when Hometree fell in Avatar.
