David Ayer’s Suicide Squad has just recruited some more cast members. The most prominent is certainly Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje who will show up as one of Batman’s most feared adversaries: Waylon Jones a.k.a. Killer Croc. A giant of a man with a skin mutation that makes him resemble a crocodile. He’s an amazing villain and one of Batman’s strongest foes.
But wait, there’s more. Latino Review’s El Mayimbe (who is hands down the Suicide Squad scoop grandmaster) reports that Clint Eastwood’s son Scott will play Steve Trevor, and that Raymond Olubowale (played the Axeman in Resident Evil: Afterlife and RE: Retribution) will do motion capture for King Shark. Steve Trevor is the primary love interest of Wonder Woman. Expect his role to be small in this, but a lead in the upcoming movie headlined by Gal Gadot. King Shark is actually a humanoid shark, similar to the ones seen in Creature (that Judd T. Nelson / Peter Benchley TV movie) and Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy which is also known as Sharkman. You might wanna ask resident Fin Flicks specialist Drew for details on that.
Additionally, Ed Harris is rumored to show up as Antiphon. Jackie Earle Haley might be the Thinker, Jay Hernandez might be El Diablo, Joe Mangianello might be Deathstroke, Karen Fukuhara might be Plastique, and both Batman and Lex Luthor might have cameos. Plastique can explode things by touching them.
All of them could join the already established Suicide Squad of Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto as The Joker, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. Still, only these guys named last are to be expected as leads. Everyone else is probably only in for bit parts and cameos, quite possibly only to be seen in the rumored Arkham Asylum sequence(s).
