DC’s upcoming Suicide Squad is basically made up of villains already, so who are they going to turn against? LatinoReview’s El Mayimbe may have found the answer. It appears the team consisting of the Joker (Jared Leto), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Deadshot (Will Smith) and Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) go up against a guy named Antiphon and his Onslaught spec ops. Right now, Ed Harris is rumored to play Antiphon.
The character is a burned, crippled agent with a prosthetic leg who leads a ruthless unit of mercenaries out to capture and kill Rick Flag’s unit. Rumors have it that Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) forces the convicts to do one impossible job for the government. As no one trusts anyone else and everyone seems to have his own agenda, especially the Joker, several deadly betrayals seem to be in the cards.
Supermodel Cara Delevingne plays Enchantress, and Joe Mangianello, Gary Sinise and Jay Hernandez are rumored to be Deathstroke, The General and an as of now unspecified role, possibly all part of Antiphon’s team, while Jesse Eisenberg could show up as Lex Luthor.
