Are you sick of me reporting on The Midnight Meat Train yet? Think I’m biased? The answers to both of those are: Too damn bad! and I sure as hell am! And I’m going to keep harping on it until this flick gets the attention it deserves. So if you’re sick of my slanted view on this film go elsewhere. Now.
Now, moving along, for once we have a bit of good news to report on The Midnight Meat Train. Well, actually Ryan Rotten over at Shock Till You Drop scored the news first, but I’ll do my best to parrot his report here. Shock just got word Lakeshore Entertainment is appropriately holding a midnight screening of The Midnight Meat Train Saturday July 25/08 during the San Diego Comic-Con at the Gaslamp Stadium (701 Fifth Ave.). This will be a FREE SCREENING. THAT’S RIGHT, FREE! So if some of you are planning on joining the fight to help this Clive Barker adaptation (seen above with Ryuhei Kitamura) get the treatment it deserves, now’s your chance to see it before its impending shoddy release. Let’s tell Lakeshore how we really feel about their lousy treatment of this movie.
As an added bonus, Barker will also be in attendance along with a special guest to talk about the film and his “latest creation.”
Again, just for those of you in the cheap seats, The Midnight Meat Train Saturday July 25/08 during the San Diego Comic-Con at the Gaslamp Stadium (701 Fifth Ave.). FREE! FREE! FREE!
I’m sure as hell going to be there, and you should, too!
