Vulture appears to have done some serious digging into Rian Johnson’s Twitter account in the days since he was announced as the writer/director of Star Wars: Episode VIII. And you know what? They dug up something good!
Granted, none of this makes sense without a baseline understanding of the scene from Breaking Bad that Johnson is referencing, but if you know…
This is also a nice reminder that, in case you weren’t excited enough, Rian Johnson directed the single greatest episode of television in the history of the universe. And I’m not typically prone to hyperbole.
