The days of Breaking Bad as an airing, unfolding show are now behind us. Struggling with that is something I’ve talked about, but now we all have a chance to hang a bit of tribute to the show on our wall.
A very cool collaboration between MovieStop and artist Chris Morkaut has resulted in this glow-in-the-dark edition of his Breaking Bad polyptych, which features the show’s major characters in crisp detail. A secondary image appears in the dark- you can see the effect below, and more pictures of the print here.
This is a full-on high-quality, 24×36, 4-color screenprint in the fashion of Mondo or Gallery 1988 or any of the others that have become so popular. If you’ve never gotten one of these posters before, just know they’re much more beautiful, textured objects than your typical glossy poster. And the beautiful thing here is that this is a “timed edition,” meaning that any number of people can purchase one before the deadline (October 27th) and be guaranteed a print!
For $30, this thing is a steal. I’ll definitely be grabbing one, and I’m happy to say CHUD has teamed up with MovieStop and will be giving away 5 prints to lucky chewers! I’ll be selecting winners in exactly one week. If you enter the contest, I’d still suggest grabbing a print. If you win, you’ll have an awesome gift for a loved one!
In order to win a print from CHUD, you can do one or both of the following:
• Follow both @CHUDdotcom and @MovieStop on twitter, tweet a link to the contest, and include the #BreakingBadContest hashtag! (Be sure to put the tags in the text of the tweet, or start it with a “.”) For example:
