The video above is merely the latest featurette that involves the boy’s succinctly explaining the context of the Cornetto trilogy surrounding The World’s End, along with promising lots of fighting and funnies. Honestly, the fans have long been sold- this is something you can show your sister or Dad or something to better explain what the deal is. A tool. Just consider it a nice video pamphlet to hand out to wayward souls…
With all the hoopla surrounding the release of the new film, naturally Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost have been making the rounds and doing cool things. Their most recent cool thing? How about an announcement of a partnership with Regal, AMC, Drafthouse and other theater chains to host Cornetto Trilogy screenings across the country!
That’s right, you’ll be able to enjoy a marathon of Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, and then catch a premiere of The World’s End at a ton of theaters. This is all going down on Thursday, August 22nd and will cost you $25 (at least at a Regal).
You can find Regal’s engagement list right here. AMC’s list is forthcoming, but watch this space.
Next up is a Drafthouse new “No Talking” PSA that will be playing in front of movie in Drafthouse theaters, with a special warning to movie-goers from the trio that’s rather cute, if kind of… couchy.
I’ll leave you with the latest Mondo poster, which is an appropriate release to celebrate Wright’s newest film. While hosting a screening and Q&A in Austin, Wright debuted Tyler Stout’s new piece, this one for Shaun Of The Dead. While attending Austinites got the first crack at the poster, note that the regular edition is a fairly decent size, so you might have a decent chance at nabbing one…
