Good for De Palma that he can still get a pair of actresses like Noomi Rapace and Rachel McAdams to star in an erotic thriller that turns out to be a step or two above a late-night Showtime flick. Still, I’m not sure even these magnetic actresses and their… friendly onscreen relationship is going to save this shlocky cheese-fest. It could just be the cut of the trailer or the cheap dubstep or the cliche mask on the murderer or the need to play out virtually every beat of the movie, but there’s not a lot of class dripping from this one.
