I don’t know much what to tell you- I’m a little drained after sorting through pictures of these two.
Jist is that Justin Kurzel is directing an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, set in the 11th century and now starring Michael Fassbender and Natalie Portman. The The Snowtown Murders director is working off a script from unknowns Todd Louiso (typically a TV actor) and Jacob Koskoff. It’s an indie project that will be looking for backers and a distributors for some time, so not anything the two are hopping on right away.
Portman is wrapped up in the Jane Got A Gun debacle from which Fassbender made a swift exit, but it will be good to see them on screen together. We’ll get a tease of their chemistry in the still Untitled Malick film that’s not To The Wonder or Knight Of Cups though, whenever that’s released.
