In this age where franchises poop out sequels every other year it’s hard to believe it’s been almost a decade since Ron Burgundy last signed off. There’s something comforting about seeing Ferrell here, in all his Burgundy glory. Even better, Veronica Corningstone.
I’m of the belief that The Legend Continues find Ron and Veronica still on their way to those hallowed seats they find themselves on at Anchorman’s end. We now know that Harrison Ford will be playing a Brokaw-esque newscaster in New York, the nation’s #1 news market. We also now that Burgundy will be going toe-to-toe with newcomer James Marsden, himself a hot shot newscaster with designs likely on replacing Ford.
