My recent interview with Edgar Wright and Nick Frost for the
Hot Fuzz DVD has set off a firestorm of interest among Chewers; in the interview Edgar mentions
he had considered doing an entry in our Guilty Pleasures list (which I have
been slacking on so badly the last few days. Sorry Nick, Russ, Jeremy and
Micah!), but that he feared it was a conflict of interest. It turns out that
our readers really want to read what Edgar has to say (he’s thinking of Death
Wish 3 and The Black Hole as his entries).
Now is your chance to petition him in person… if you live in
or near Los Angeles, that is. Edgar’s going to be doing a DVD signing at the
Virgin Megastore on Hollywood and Highland this Tuesday at 7pm. Come to the
store, meet Edgar, and DEMAND a Guilty Pleasure. And get your copy of Hot Fuzz
signed while you’re at it. Jeremy and I will probably be showing up at some point as well (I still need to get my Shaun of the Dead UK quad signed! I have Simon and Nick already),
and we’ll sign your breasts or privates if you so like.
