The new Will Smith superhero movie, originally titled Tonight, He Comes, has been changing its title as it has been shooting. First the film was retitled John Hancock, which sounds like a movie set in 1776. Now it’s been shortened even further, to just Hancock. Han Cock. That’s what Harrison Ford slipped Carrie Fisher, I believe.
Anyway, the film’s title is absolutely fucking abysmal, but here’s to hoping that the actual content is decent, even if it’s been toned down from what was an initially very dark first couple of drafts. Meanwhile the film, which is set in Brooklyn, has been shooting in San Pedro (!), and IESB managed to get a picture of Will Smith in action.
