Joe Dante is a great man. His genre contributions for five decades go without saying and if films like Gremlins, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, The Howling, Innerspace, Piranha, Matinee, The ‘Burbs, and Twilight Zone: The Movie don’t have some sort of personal connection to you then you are either eleven or a little dead inside.

Plus Joe’s involved in the the delightful Trailers from Hell!

His latest movie is The Hole, a flick we’ve discussed on CHUD for quite some time but one that has taken forever to make it stateside. It’s a 3-D, old school romp from a true genre legend. Before coming to home video it’s getting a little theatrical love and folks in Atlanta have an opportunity to see it with us at a really special private screening room a week from today (that would be September 20th). You young at heart and not too cynical about your horror? Then clear your schedule.

Joe Dante. Screening. Here. Plus you can get your Teri Polo fix while you’re at it!

If you’re available Thursday the 20th during the day and want to be a part of this old school 3-D experience use the link below and in the body of the email tell me your name and that you are free around 10am that morning. I will reply with details and get your name on the list if you make the cut. There will an ad running in the AJC for this screening so get on board through us and guarantee a seat!
