With regards to the Transformers character design argument, I’m staying way the Terry Funk out of it – mostly because I don’t care, but also because my grading scale on giant robots is insanely forgiving. Basically, if they look like they could throw a Big Boy the length of three football fields, then they’re alright by me. And from what I’ve seen thus far, Michael Bay’s Transformers look like Big Boy chucking masters.
At any rate, one of my favorite Chewers sent me a link to a whole mess o’ Transformers stills, and I figured I’d post ’em ‘cuz I sure like watchin’ you fellas argue over robot lips and noses. I don’t mean to be condescending about this. I mean, I guess I do, but rest assured it doesn’t come from a place of meanness; it’s okay to be passionate about stuff so long as it doesn’t lead to genocide or cheering for Vince Carter.
