Nick, while we agree on a great many things, this time I beg to differ on your Wayan's statement. I have to say the Wayan's are comic genius. Granted their last two efforts were two piles of dung, their level of satire matches, if not surpasses, Airplane era Zucker.

Honestly, I am not. I refer not to the Scary Movie franchise as a whole (we all know the fiasco 2 was). In Living Color, Don't Be a Menace: these are two prime examples I was attempting to refer to.

I might have overstepped by saying surpasses Zucker, but I stand by my statement of their comic genius.

This. A friend sent me a photo of the Dance Flick poster he'd snapped with the message "WHY???". I thought about it for a second, and then responded with "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka was a long time ago..."

Compared to their stuff now? It's fantastic, but doesn't match up with the Airplane/Police Squad/Top Secret trio of awesome. Kentucky Fried Movie is a fair comparision, though.

I stand corrected. I forgot all about Police Squad. Top Secret, not so much, KFM, definitely.

I am man enough to admit I am wrong.

But I still like the Wayans. I guess we all have a cross to bear.
