Great article. That and the trailer just put this on my radar.

What next for Jesse Eisenberg? Will he make it a -land trilogy? And how?

Namedropping Vacation in relation to a zombie movie? I could not be more sold if I was a Russian teenager in the white slave trade.

I was sold on this the minute I saw that damn trailer. Harrelson seems to do his best work when he's making something with comedy involved. Some may not like the guy but I still see Woody from cheers everytime I see this guy and damn it how could you not love the guy?

I wish I had more to offer than this movie looks really good. I really like Harrelson and am glad to see he is getting some work lately. I am with Nick in that I tire of the zombie movie.

Honestly, I am so tired of apparent retreads, I still have not seen either of the 28 (days or weeks) movies nor the recent releases of the "of the Dead" movies. This fresh approach has me considering giving it another go.

Thanks for the great article.

I'm sort of intrigued by Breslin being in this. Hopefully she joins in on the zombie ass-kicking and isn't just a screaming kid in peril.

The trailer was just about perfect, and I'm trying not to get too excited. I'm guessing the next set visit article is going to change that. The thing I'm most looking forward to in the movie is seeing Woody painting the 3 on car doors.

And Matalo, see 28 Days Later. One of the best theater experiences in my life, but it still holds up at home.

Allow me to recant my statement. I did watch Shaun of the Dead. My mistake.

My wife and kids watched the 28 series and I should give it a go, I guess.

28 days later was great in the theater but if you watch it at home with the lights off and relative quiet you will enjoy. Or I hope you will as it is a good movie.

Sounds great, like everyone is really on board with what's going down. And from the trailers, that shows; it looks like 'fun'. Something zombie films, save for Shaun, never get right (if they even attempt it at all). Great write up, Nick, looking forward to reading the others!

"I mean, I’m a huge fan of “Vacation” and this is like a buddy comedy. The whole time I’ve been saying this movie is like “Midnight Run” with zombies."

I almost could have stopped there and my ticket's basically bought.

Fantastic set report tho Nick. I like that Woody's doing the odd interesting thing here and there these days. Is it just that he doesn't really have a shot in the majors anymore I wonder, unless it's second banana type stuff in the No Country's or Semi-Pro's, or that he's consciously taking those sorts of roles and then skewing for the smaller stuff as well?

Either way this looks great fun. I know I should be sick of zombie films by now, but I'm just not. Maybe it's because I only got into Romero in the last ten years, but I just love the genre unashamedly and love how many differnet dirctions you can take it from comedy to parable to political statement.

Looks great and I have to agree that the mention of Vacation in relation to the idea has be jazzed.

Nick, any idea when Part 2 of this will go up?

Can't wait. I pimp this site every once in a while, but if anyone's interested check out Ruben Fleischer's homepage. There're a few really fun music videos and short films on it and might give you an idea of what style this film will be.

Man, I'm pissed that this was filming in Georgia and I knew nothing about it. Here I am working on the damn Miley Cyrus movie when I could've been working on this!

I'm just about done with zombies (which is strange cuz I love zombie movies) but damn if this doesn't have me intrigued. Harrelson's always been a one-star actor* for me so him plus comedy plus Zombies and I'm there.

*Any movie he's in regardless of quality automatically gets one star.

I'm far more stoked for this movie than I could have expected. It totally feels like a throwback to another time to me, but I'm sure that's just because it's a horror comedy, which is about all I watched growing up. I'm pretty excited to see what Harrelson brings to the undead table, and whether or not it matches up to those reams and reams of Woody Boyd vs Zombies fan fic I've written over the years.

Number 2 is greatness again. It's never the movie that first pops in my head when I think about it, but this is edging towards the top of my most anticipated for the rest of the year- it just looks so damn fun.

Some of those answers sound very familiar.

Yeah, I'm loving these so far. The idea of Harrelson and Eisenberg together slaying the shit out of zombies is making me giddier than it should.
