There's one transition in particular that this list was probably based around.

Fantastic homeless wipe. I love the little shuffle. Good movie too.

I must refuse to believe that anything besides a bum wipe could have incited this.

I was inspired by three to do this list, and none of mine featured cave men and bones.

Its a nice little touch as the homeless man represents the hopelessness and despair in what Fishburnes character is going through and feeling.Right?

And this animation should henceforth be on display on the top of every website known to men.

Surely we are in for another list of greatness Nick. Thanks already in advance.

And Coppola should have made this list with at least one scene as well.

See, this is why I love CHUD. Not only do y'all run down your favorite transitions, you kick it off with one from one of the '90s most unappreciated gems.

I hope that all of the picks stay on this level of hilarity and not go for the oft-picked boring ones (that EW would pick).

Though it's TV/Lame/Newer than most of these movies might be, I still think of weird wipes as "Home-Improvement Syndrome".

Deep Cover is one of my favorite crime flicks. Goldblum is batshit in it. Now that I think about it, he approaches classic Walken levels of goofy menace in the movie. Plus it's got eminently quotable lines for days.

Since I've started to read this site('03), the quality of writing has improved, but there seemed to be a slight loss of "fun"(for lack of a better term) in the process. You're bringing it back around again. You guys have been on fire last month with the fun lists and such. Great job all around.

Deep Cover is really about three things: atmosphere, dialog, and Jeff Goldblum.

It has its silly moments, like below:

But overall it's a solid undercover cop film.

Thank you sir.

Does the out-of-left field 3D map of the military base count as a wipe? Cause that's one of most awesome things I've ever seen in a movie. It reminded me of Metroid.

I may have gotten an erection when I saw this scene in theaters. My favorite part of the movie not involving a large green man beating the shit out of object and people.

On Deep Cover - not only have I always loved this film as its one of my favourite Goldblum performances in a stellar career of awesome ham, I always always remembered that bum-wipe, it sticks out in the film like dogs balls but my 15 year old self loved it. Great film, in fact I haven't watched it in at least ten years. May have to track it down.

This. Its amazing how CHUD has transitioned to a legitimate film site (set visits, TV appearances, getting shout out by celebs), but this list and the Twelve Days of CHUDmas list are absolutely delicious.

This list is 2 for 2. My friends and I CRACKED UP when we saw Engorge Lucas in theaters. The few other people in the theater seemed to be pretty annoyed with us.

That scene with Lucas is one of the many reasons I will defend Hulk until the day I die.

I fucking loved Hulk and that scene is one of many awesome transitions in that movie.
