I agree. I think it's kind of a profound video actually, in terms of the implications for our society. Looking at Banana-boy, I really do wonder if our system of democracy is practical for these difficult times. I do not want people who self immolate for internet fame to be able to vote, and the idea that people like the guy in that video can sway events with their constitutionally insured influence, no matter how small a percentage of the population they constitute, is a deeply troubling notion. With issues like global warming at a tipping point, I wouldn't mind if there was some sort of current events/IQ test required to vote. I mean, I'm a student of history and I know full well the potential problems that come from precedents like poll taxes. It's a difficult issue. But, like you said: "You're gonna have someone cover you in gas and light a match, really?"

My reponse to anyone who answers "Yes!" to that question: No vote for you!
