What a blast this movie was. Yeah it was stupid but in the agreeable way. Things that touched my heart....

Cell phone technology kicks ass in 2012. By the time we see the Indian family's demise, cell phone networks should have been extinct.

Ditto with CNN. Continents are moving thousands of miles but Comcast is still broadcasting.

If you're a dog in an Emmerich disaster movie, you have nothing to worry about.

I love the little touch where the air traffic controller is telling the Russian not to take off and we hear "AHHHHHHHH" as the ash cloud destroys him.

People were cheering John Cusack for fixing his fuck up. Yay, you didn't drown us after all. Let's cheer!

The triple stack mushroom cloud. Can that exist in nature? No matter, it was amazing.

So I'm assuming that by the end of the movie, Pangea reforms? Looks that way to me.

This movie would make a great double feature with GI:JOE.

I was laughing at his uniform. With all the things to worry about in preparing for this event someone had the good sense to make sure the captains of the arks got scifi future suits.

With interchanging hats!

I swear, one minute he's wearing a traditional military-style cap, then the next a baseball cap with the arc's name. Good thing that while they were planning the end of the world, someone was thorough enough to remember to coordinate the captain's uniforms.

Yeah the captain of the Ark had a gay M. Bison thing going on there. It was seriously over the top.

I have nothing interesting to say about this film. Carry on.
