Okay, Devin, look, I know you and I have had our differences. And really - whatever. However, as the designated "Birthday Cake and Fear" lady around these parts, you get a cake. From me. So just, you know, enjoy it. And keep your beard out of the frosting.

Happy belated! Hope it was happy.

Happiest of Birthdays to Cakegirl herself, LisaNY!!

And what better way to say it than with a hastily Photoshopped Bay City Rollers Birthday Cake!

Well, it was either this or a Cookiepuss. Happy Birthday, toots!

Well, now it is my turn to present cakes! Yay!

Here is to you, from the heart (and home sweet home...), a sausage cake!

Have a great day! Hopefully with more tasty cakes!

I have it on good authority that John Taylor wants to wish Lisa a happy birthday.

You guys are the best - thank you! I love my Rollers cake, Tim! It's so cool! Oh, and hey, for the guy who photoshopped me a BCR cake (and for Eileen too, if she happens in here) - Rollers gossip! The lead singer, the one I was in love with when I was 12? Gay! (Well, technically bisexual). Yup, came outta the closet last year. It was even a bigger shock for his wife of 25 years and their 24 year old son!

Jan, the meat cake is awesome, I love meatballs and sausage - and those kind too! (HAH! It was a dick joke! Because I'm still that funny well into middle age!)

JOHN TAYLOR!!!! BAAAYBEEEE!!

Phil, you baked! I love it, thank you! And Chuck Norris will kick all your asses till I have a happy birthday, LOL!

Last night my sweetie and I celebrated, and the gifties he came bearing were the best!

1. A HUGE bouquet of gorgeous flowers.
2. We each have a small collection of vintage metal lunchboxes and thermoses. Long story short - as much of a Monkees fan as I am, their lunchbox sucked. Really bad imaging, poorly made. In fact, if you find one in good condition, it's a fortune, because one that's still intact is a rare find. Anyway, the lunchbox itself really blows - BUT... the thermos is ridiculously cool! It's looks like they're from two different sets, but anyway, he knew I wanted the thermos but not the lunchbox. So he hit Ebay, and found me the thermos alone, in great condition, and surprised me with it! It now sits proudly on top of my fridge along with my 1961 Barbie thermos, my 1977 Charlie's Angels lunchbox, and a very cool repro Bettie Page lunchbox. Plus, he tricked me - a couple of months ago, he asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I said, "You know, if you happen to see The Monkees thermos around Ebay, if it's in good condition and not a fortune, you could snag that for me." He says, "Yeah, you want that?" Turns out he already had it! He found it and got it for me before he ever asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and it was hidden in his closet!
3. "Law & Order SVU" Season One! I've already requested Season Two for Christmas.
4. He went to the NBC store, went straight to "The Office" merchandise, and got me the "Sprinkles the Cat Memorial Tee Shirt"!! WHOOT!
5. Then he took me to my favorite Japanese restaurant for dinner.

Today is my actual b-day, but I don't have a heck of a lot planned! Just heading home to relax after work today!

Thanks again, you guys! I love all my assorted cakes and pretty bass players - you guys are the best!

LisaNY, Happy Birthday! Remember what...Marie Antoinette said...Let Them Eat Cake. Clearly the woman was a...seer, as so many people don't...desert...desserts. Of course, the people weren't grateful, as the put poor Marie on...The ultimate diet (they cut off her head) and she hasn't eaten cake or gained a pound since.

Happy Birthday to all that I didn't wish a good day to. The title was so offputting, I thought it was going to be a negative thread, about lamenting how old everyone is.

Happy Birthday to our favorite cigar smokin', scotch swillin', mad professor of horror, and all around good guy, Iggy! You gets a Motorhead cake, baked by Lemmy hisself!

And birthday greetings to our favorite Celestial, Brad! You rate a combo cookie-cake! In Arishem's colors yet!

That Motorhead cake is truly awesome, but doesn't Brad deserve a cake that's made out of coagulated blood and entrails?

Regardless: Happy birthday, Iggy and Brad. Drink heavily.

I figured you were all burnt out on cake baking what with your birthday Sunday, Lisa, and your bouncing up and down on your bed, singing along with the Bay City Rollers into your hairbrush Monday night. Glad to help!

ETA: I ran out of entrails during baking, Judas (it was quite a weekend, y'know). Had enough WIR-GIN blood for the frosting though.

Oh, Tim's Bay City Roller shots at me (and Eileen!) are always easy shots!

I know this little shop in my neighborhood where you could have gotten entrails. You should have asked!

Are they kosher? And can I get them lightly breaded, maybe with a dipping sauce? I think Brad prefers either the tears of forsaken children, or the spinal fluid of the damned and mutilated to dip his entrails in, mostly 'cause they're low-cal.

Judas, yeah, it was an easy one, but I would've pegged it as too easy. Like me, according to the bathroom walls here at work.

Wait . . . I just took a better look at that Motorhead cake now that I'm home & not at work: Is that a chain baked into it? It's even more awesome than I thought!

And thanks Judas. I fear I won't imbibe tonight (I'm in the middle of a trial; have 3 witnesses tomorrow to prep for :-(
