Fantastic review, I'm seeing it in a few weeks so I'm really looking forward to it. This didn't mean to be a me too post, but I just wanted to say that I loved your review and it's got me pumped for a film I wasn't sure about.

Wow, 3 (DAYBREAKERS, THIRST, now this) good recent vamp flicks since LET THE RIGHT ONE IN. Who woulda thunk it?

Is a Revenant a vampire? I think it's different enough to be it's own thing.

In a roundabout way, GRACE also qualifies.

Yeah, I liked this film way more than Devin. The audience I was with lapped up the fucking jokes and I thought the wordplay between Bart and Joey was fucking hilarious. I love the scope of the thing, I had no idea it was going to be anything other than another low budget vampire/zombie movie but the fact it essentially turns into a Frank Milleresque comic book movies and never lets up is fucking amazing.
Audience loved Bart communicating with the severed head by way of vibrator. Just a great moment, and the director himself did a Q and A afterwards and despite the audience being kind of hostile (which is a facet of the event I was at) he was a great speaker. I really hope this finds a good distribution deal over here and finds itself an audience.
