Obviously I'm only half joking. Ok, I'm completely joking. Actually I'm glad you put in that bit about hitting the shops because that helped me curb my envy a little; for me shopping is less fun than chronic syphilis. And speaking of Curb, I've been watching Seinfeld reruns lately too and loving them all over again. I gotta go dig out my Kramer t-shirt.

I've got a shirt of George in his "The Timeless Art Of Seduction" pose that I wear a lot when we go out, and I always get compliments on it.

Can't wait for the new season of Curb. I don't have HBO though, so I'll have to wait for the dvd set. I hope there's more Leon.

Funny enough, I only 1 dvd, the tv show God, The Devil, And Bob, and two cans of Arizona Ice Tea. That's also because we also hit a clothing shop, and 1 pawn shop. Yesterday my folks took me out to eat to celebrate my new job and I went to the nearby Best Buy and didn't buy anything.

Sometimes buying online spoils me by being so cheap.

Aw, plans. The killer of spontaneity! I prefer to pretend I don't have a schedule. That way, when I show up to work, I can be surprised by the length of the shift ahead of me!

I'll agree with you there. I sometimes find myself looking at the schedule on the wall at times, but with the new schedule I'm on the day goes by much faster.

I like to plan things out, but I'm always up for a little spontaneity.

I don't have to cut the meat with my right hand, put the knife down, and pick up the fork to eat with my right hand.

I just wanted to point out that this is actually proper table etiquette. You're never supposed to switch hands while eating. It's a good thing you're ambidextrous, because people like me have to deal with using our left hands to shovel food into our mouths. So as to come off well in formal dinners. I am quite good at it. But it took practice.

I am often commended for my etiquette and protocol behavior. Because of this, I can get away with wearing a suit jacket and jeans.

I did neglect to mention that when he was getting me my clubs, he picked up a righthanded club and swung it lefthanded.

Re:Literary Renewal - I love to read books too, although, like you Rene, as time's gone on I've found myself reading fewer and fewer books per year. Part of the problem is that the time I do my book-reading (as opposed to reading the papers or internet) is at the end of the night, and I usually don't get more than two or three pages on before my eyelids are fighting to shut up shop for the night. The other big change over time has been that I'll read about 80-90% non-fiction now, whereas in my younger years it would've been about 20%, and those were almost all biographies.

Yeah, I've found myself reading a lot of non-fiction as well. Those autobiographies of actors and directors really grab my attention.
