Ordered Starman at Amazon for $12.99, exactly the amount I was willing to pay.

Nah, regular DVD. I'm cool with that, though - still not on the BR train yet even though I have a PS3.

Cyborg was a great deal for me. Snatched it up at a pawnshop for $4. The movie still has great action, and the score is still horrendous.

Warlock is still a great flick, and even though it's just a reissue of the old Trimark dvd, Best Buy had it along with a bunch of other Lionsgate owned flicks in neat "body bags".

Took advantage of the 30% off Blu-Ray sale at Best Buy:

The Haunted World of El Superbeasto
The Fly
Point Break
Hardware (decided to take a chance on this one, hope I like it)

You'll like Hardware more than Superbeasto. Just a guess.

Edited to add: I picked up Trilogy of Terror and Dead of Night (1977) from Amazon's Halloween sale. Both are pretty fun. Also got The Mighty Boosh Special Edition and the complete BBC radio series.

I picked up season 7 of 24 at Target over the weekend for $12.99. Not a bad deal at all. I have the others and I usually flesh out my TV on DVD collection when the price is right, and $12.99 is VERY right. So right, it almost seems wrong.

Anyway, besides being happy with the purchase I thought I'd mention how pleased I am with how efficient the packaging is. All six discs are in a case no biger than a standard DVD case and it has a cardboard sleeve on the outside. Nice indeed. I love the old-school foldout DVD sets we used to get, but they definitely take up more space. It's great when you have just a few, but over the years DVD real estate has gotten limited. I've got DVDs all over the place and efficeint packaging like this is easy to appreciate.
