Default Good Tech Deal Sites

Not spam or trolling.

Woot.com, for one. I know a lot of people who have gotten good deals from them, and I just picked up a $25 refurbished 4GB Sandisk Sansa to replace the one that I accidentally munched at the gym.

Does anyone have any other additions?

newegg.com is kinda the standard, I hear. I bought a cheap decent HDMI off of them, that's it for me so far.

Fat Wallet and Slick Deals are both great bargain collection sites. Both have forums where you can find lucky deals and often advanced advertisements (like Best Buy's Sunday ad a week early.) You can also sometimes find coupon combos and other tricks to get free stuff, or in some cases get paid for your gymnastics. Just be careful on price mistakes since those usually get caught before you can really take advantage of them (or are later canceled.)

I can vouch for Newegg -- practically every power supply, memory stick, hard drive, disc drive and video card I've put in my computer for the last three years has come from them. Great prices, fast shipping, and some pretty knowledgeable user reviews that help you make an informed choice.

I didn't know where to post this but HHGREG is going nuts this week.

I'm going to try to grab a good mid-size tv there this week. Sony Bravia 32" are only $399. It's the 720's but that's perfect for a 32".

Also Check out this Aquos Blue Ray Player. $100

Talking about crazy.

believe it or not I just bought my niece a new laptop Acer Aspire for $348 at walmart. It includes windows 7, DVD super drive, 4 GB and 250 gig harddrive.

Short battery life of 3.5 hours but hey, its for a 14-year-old. You can't buy them on line as they are out of stock, but they do have them in-store.

Walmart's going to be offering an HP laptop with a 2.2 GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, a 250gb hard drive and Windows 7 Home Premiun installed for $298 starting Saturday morning at 8:00am.

Another supporter of newegg here--especially on Black Friday and "Black Monday".

For deals to be had, I hang out at the gottadeal.com forums a lot.

If I have a specific need and want it right away, usually I go with newegg. Otherwise, I use slickdeals for random upgrades I don't need.

that's awesome but no way in hell you'll find me in a 24-hour walmart for an 8 am sale. Trust me, they will only have 2 per store.
