Here's what I want to know - we readers know your take on films from this decade pretty well, and select older films have had their day in court on the site, but that sentence had me wondering where exactly I would read your review of The Blair Witch Project.

The 90s in particular are a bit of a black hole for this site. Don't know where I'm going with this, but did you guys like The Crying Game, or did you dismiss it as "'Guests Of The Nation' Meets Sleepaway Camp"? Did anyone here like Buffalo '66 in the "hated it until the last ten minutes" way that I did, or did Gallo's "Spanning time" thing just piss you off?

I dunno, maybe this is an existing feature I haven't yet unearthed, but if not, hearing your takes on contemporary films that just slightly pre-date the site could be cool to read.

I wasn't reviewing movies when BLAIR WITCH came out.

I've thought about reviewing older films but it's tough with the current workload. Maybe I'll figure out a way to fit it in.

It'd be cool, even if they were capsule-type things without requiring the timedrain of a rewatch. "As I recall" type shit. The 90s are about to be 20 years ago, so jump on that shit. But not stuff like Edward Scissorhands. In fact, avoid the Hot Topic canon altogether.

There's CHUD's '50 films that deserve more love'. God knows where the link to that is though.

Over at AICN you can still find Moriarty's top ten lists from the 90s. Not CHUD, obviously, but he's a good writer. Here's 1995:

Thanks for the links. It was fun to read though these again.

I know that would be really tough, but I'd love to see yours and the other reviewers takes on older movies. Especially since I haven't seen as many movies in recent years as I used to, I'd love to see reviews for films back when I used to go at least twice a week.

Great stuff here, I remember seeing some of these around, though they were before my time.

I didn't take the thought nearly as far as Phil, but I was intrigued by Devin's Blair Witch comment.

Thanks for linking the 100 list, alobek!
