"I'm cut in half pretty bad" is one of the funniest lines in any movie, ever. For that alone, this movie will always have a spot in my heart. Let's Duet together is also pretty awesome.

Thanks for the review Tom. How do you pronounce your last name?

I love this movie. Felt more ZAZ than any other movie in decades.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I've always opted for "Fooks" as the phonetic pronunciation of the name, although I think "Fyooks" would also be deemed valid by a random sampling of my immediate family. Or, if you're my third grade gym teacher, "Fucks".

It's "Fooks"? Really, I thought it was pronounced the way it was pronounced in Used Cars.

The Thing, perhaps?

I can't believe I missed this in the review, but they name drop CHUD in the commentary. In fact, I'm gonna go back and add that.

Just finished watching this and I wish I had my hour thirty six back.

Nothing on your review, as I couldn't find a theatrical release thread, but this movie sucked. To even give it anything close to the line:

is just out and out trashing the ZAZ legacy.

I am one person that just doesn't get Apatow I guess.

Just got this used on blu (well worth it for the presentation quality) and its gotta be one of my favorite comedies of the past few years. I've seen it a couple of times already and it never fails to get me laughing. Damn shame not more people saw it. The non-stop music jokes might actually be too geeky for mainstream audiences but I was right there with it. In fact, I don't hink I've ever bothered to sit through the theatrical cut. Love the supporting cast, the direction from Jake Kasdan and the songs.

What's the CHUD reference? I'm not sure I wanna sit through the commentary.

I've seen this twice, and have no idea if it was a different cut the second time, or if I just warmed to it, but I wasn't a big fan the first time. Second time I loved it.
