Default Painless, new from the Killing Swarm

I wrote this song around 1995. Finally recorded it. Hope you like.

PAINLESS MP3 FILE
Guitars, Vocals - Nick
Bass, Drums, Guitar, Backing Vocals - Steve

It feels so familiar
I've been down this road
I can't seem to find
to find the time
to find a lie
find my mind
end over end through our time
we've dodged ourselves a better life

And it's the same
can't believe what I've done
should be more difficult than this
to feel this

But it's painless

In and out of space
I drift undisturbed
I can't seem to feel
to feel that force
that pulls me straight to you
end over end through our time
we've dodged ourselves a better life

And it's the same
can't believe what I've done
should be more difficult than this
to feel this

But it's painless

I love it, it sounds great. Nice and moody, which is what we were aiming for. And a really good mixing job, because I know just how many files you had to deal with.

Mellow yet melancholic. Without trying to sound too hippyish, it sort of drifts around the room as it plays. I dig it. Why such a long wait to record it?

No reason really. I have a million little riffs that just exist in limbo.
