Finally the Internet proves itself useful. I wish I would have learned of this site a month ago so I could have utilized it in my 20th Anniversary celebration of this masterpiece. What other site can give us a photo like this:

I can't recommend more highly the "Let off some steam Bennett" Flash game. Good luck on the hard setting.

That photo is great. Vernon was breaking hearts and mentoring Dave Davis even then.
Commando still one of the finest action comedies ever made. I proudly own the dvd.

Years ago, Matrix's unit ousted the vicious dictator of the South American country of Val Verde and replaced him with a democratically-elected president.
Heh, usually its the other way around.
Fun site.
EDIT:
During the final battle at Arius' compound, gunfire can clearly be heard in the background, yet Matrix is the only person attacking the base and nobody is shooting at him. Who are they shooting at?
Hehe, cracks me up.

Damn! I only got 13 out of 15 questions right in the COMMANDO quiz. Time to watch it again.
That Commando comic book is the best piece of graphic narrative since Eisner's A Contract With God.
"Eat fist, fathead!"
"No, you eat it."

It's telling when the entire story of a movie can be condensed into a 14-page comic book without losing any important details in the process.
Matrix and Cindy commandeer an old sea plane and, thanks to Cindy's aeronautical skills, are soon winging their way to the secret island base.
For some reason, this made me LOL fiercly.

I've had the figure that that comic comes with for a few years, but in an effort to help myself retire before 50 I never opened the package and thus unable to read the comic. Now I never again have to worry about giving in to the temptation to tear that sucker open in a drunken rage. Thanks Commandofans.com!
I like the way the comic cleans up the story in that Commando kills NOBODY.

The "I let him go" line is slightly ambiguous. I mean, at face value, it just sounds like Arnold did indeed let Sully go free.
HOWEVER, the last time we see Sully he is dangling over a cliff. Additionally, Arnold's announcment that he "Let him go" is given unusual emphasis.
It seems like they were expecting people to KNOW what happened to Sully in the film, so they implied enough to get away with it in the comic.

I always thought I was an unofficial super fan of Commando...until I saw this site. This is fantastic. Looks like I found my new message board home...
Thank you molti.
Awesome site.
Easily one of my all-time favorite movies. When this and Weird Science came out in '85, I was instantly hooked. The next year I had them both on the same VHS tape and watched them both daily. I'm such a Commando junkie.

I just downloaded the original trailer to get back into Commando mode. When I was a kid I got a kick out of seeing that lady fire the bazooka the wrong way, no idea why. Interesting to note that in the trailer we see all of Sully's character arc: he appears, pisses off Matrix and subsequently dies, all in the trailer!

Well, we did miss out on what Commando's eat for breakfast. And they got the cars wrong, Sully drove the yellow Porsche, Cindy drove the red sportscar - but Matrix was behind the wheel.
