I have none. Give me yours. Bonus points for cost, practicallity, and originallity. While it doesn't necessarily have to coordinate, my girlfriend will be Cleopatra.

I was a Crazy 88 last year. This year I might be lazy and just bust out my old Ghostbusters costume again.

Going as Palpatine. Got a cheap custom cloak made, buying a mask, already own a Force F/X saber, and I do a pretty damn accurate McDarmid impression. Should be a blast.

If any of you were planning to go as Joran Van Der Sloot you can forget it, that's mine, I called it back in July. Now I just need to find a young blond to be my Natalee. I know this girl Stephanie who says she'd put on a blond wig to help me out but I don't know how to tell her that she also needs to lose at least 25 pounds in the next 2 weeks as well.

I'm going to be Frank the Bunny and my friend is going to be Donnie Darko. We've already made the mask. I'll put up pictures when I get a chance.

Easy one I've got for my 2 1/2 year old: A business suit, some business cards (Bone of course), and a bloody knife so he can go as Patrick Bateman from American Psycho.

For lack of planning, I'll probably go with the store-bought Ghosbuster outfit I have from last year. One of these days I'm going to finish that Rorschach mask I've been trying to make. One of these days.

But if I end up going anywhere this Halloween and I need a costume I'll just go as the Box from Metal Gear Solid.

Going as anyone from Shaun of the Dead should be cheap and easy. I went to a Halloween party last weekend as Shaun. The costume required one used white short sleeve work shirt, a small container of burgundy fabric paint, black pants and black shoes. I used a straw to blow paint onto the shirt for splatter and applied paint to my hands and then rubbed them on the shirt to get the proper look. I also found a copy of Shaun’s name tag online and printed that out. I think I spent all of $4 putting the costume together. It looked pretty good. I’m half tempted to wear the shirt to work on Halloween, but I don’t think the flying public would be too thrilled with that. I would have gone as Ed, but I couldn’t find an I Got Wood T-shirt quick enough.

Can't think of anything so I'm going to be the guy in my avatar again.

It's just a beige flightsuit from a surplus store, with a belt, rubber gloves, a logo that I ironed on white fabric and sewed onto the arm, a namebage written with a red paint marker, and my toy proton pack that I dug out of the basement.

I'll be warm and it's a long walk to the bars.

I have no idea what I'm doing this year, and the main party I'm going to is on the 21st, giving me even less time than I thought I had. I thought about going as Indy, giving me an excuse to buy a brown leather jacket, but that's a little expensive. I really just want something comfortable to get drunk in....

The best part of Halloween is that girls get to dress as slutty as they possibly want, with no repercussions at all. The guys get drunk, and girls parade around in next to nothing. What a holiday!

This year, on my suggestion, one of my friends is going in this:

http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/1391/leiaki0.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

I'm stuck for ideas, as usual. Being a redhead limits one's options (and no, the idea of an itchy cheap wig does not sound like a good one to me). I'm not curvaceous enough to be Jessica Rabbit. I don't have the money to get a killer vintage dress and do Rita Hayworth. I'm thinking of wearing a suit and going as Scully. Or, if I'm in a bad mood, Kathy Griffin.

Or I could always go political, and be a congressional page. I could testify that Mark Foley never did anything untoward around me. ;)

I wish I could think of a way to pull off being a dud nuclear test.

There really haven't been many famous redheads lately. You should find a guy who's stocky and go as Fred and Wilma Flintstone.

Hocken, are Ty Webb, Noonan, Judge Smails, and Dangerfield going to be on hand? That's when it really becomes something special.

I want to see people going as Brtiney and KFed. I expect to see some Borats too.

One of my friends had a great idea. He went as Flavor Flav, and had clocks made for about 10 of the girls at the party, with their pictures on them....

I want to see people going as Brtiney and KFed.

My friend happens to be pregnant at the moment (due in January), and she took full advantage! Her husband is full-blooded Greek (not in the picture), though, and didn't make the best KFed in the world...

In scrubs or a suit or something? I could definitely pull together scrubs and a lab coat easy, and my hair is right. But I'm definitely not as hot as Kate Walsh (the bad part of scrubs is that they don't flatter the figure, and my figure is definitely better than my face).

Great idea, though, I'll work on that, and I will post pics if I have any.

One good thing about being Borat is that you get to say crazy shit all night, especially if you can do a decent Borat voice. Like maybe walk up to a random girl and say "um excuse eh me, eh I would like to have eh sex with your eh mouth."

I've been a part of a Caddyshack group on Halloween before, I was Ty Webb, and just seeing all the people together is pretty entertaining. We were considering doing it on other non Halloween occasions even but that never happened.

Wayden, like you said, nice Britney, but I don't know if that's Kfed or a guy in greek bootcamp. For a proper Kfed outfit you only need a few things and that guys wearing none of them: First and foremost a white on white hat that is worn outside of the ears and tilted to the side (a look that looks stupid when black guys do it and astronomically stupid when white guys do it) and a huge oversized t shirt of any kind. Jeans worn well below ass level with a pair of unlaced tennis shoes would be icing on the cake.

Belethed, "my figure is definitely better than my face"? Nice honesty, even for the internet. I respect that.

If a was female I would go as....a prostitute. I mean let's just cut the bullshit, both men and women would like to have the women dress as sexy as possible so instead of a sexy cat or something just be overt about it and be a hooker, it's Halloween, it's cool. When someone comes up and says "what are you supposed to be" the answer is simply "a prostitute." If somebody doesn't think that's funny they should be fucking killed.

Sorry, didn't make myself clear - that's not her husband in the picture, just a friend. This is a picture of her husband - but like I said, his being Greek didn't make him the best KFed in the world. He doesn't quite fit your description, but I think he has the hat part down!

One of the funniest costumes I've ever seen was this year. One guy dressed up as the "Party Boy" from Jackass, and we had all of the music playing off of a laptop wired into the speakers throughout the house.

Anytime a new group of people showed up to the house, we'd start playing the Party Boy music (http://iconomy.addr.com/pbsg.mp3), - and the new people were thinking "What the hell is this?". Next thing you know, he's tearing off the breakaway pants & going to town.

Bonus: It also brought the police to the house because he ran down the street like this. They said they had reports of naked people out & about.

I like that, Valeri. A friend of mine from work went as an evil doctor, he had on blood-spattered scrubs and breath mask, and a big syringe filled with green fluid. Before he went to the party he came to the video store and all the customers wanted a photo with him.

Halloween isn't a big thing here but the costume thing is catching on, which is cool.

Also, about how I was talking about dressing up like a prostitute. I went to a Halloween party last night and at least 4 girls had to be going as that. Some friends and I went to a party this weekend as zombies. Considering that I have never done any makeup work or used liquid latex before, I along with the other partygoers were pretty impressed with the effects. My buddy Roger (guy in Twins shirt) story was that he was watching a game at a pub when I crashed through the window, bit him and turned him. Unfortunately you can't really see his wound, but I made a latex application that was a jagged bite mark along with glass that pierced his neck from the broken window. Lesley and I were lovers that perished at the beginning of the of the zombie outbreak.

Yes, I am missing my "boomstick". I had a wedding last Saturday and was unable to attend all the local parties. Coupled with the fact that I'm currently in class three days a week-- my costume suffered a bit. I had started on the chainsaw a few days before I even found out about the wedding, so I just kept working on it in my spare time-- not expecting I'd get to use it. Maybe it will be completed for next year.
