The Star Wars Episode III game trailer is now online.

Funny that it's bigger than the actual Epsiode 3 Trailer, or at least the version I have.

What also funny is that it seems to give away more of the plot than the trailer. At least it confirms a fight between Anakin and Dooku.

That said I love both trailers.

One day, Lucasarts will release an on-foot 3d actioner that runs at a CONSISTENT 30fps.

On the same day, the temperature of Hell will drop to zero.

That aside, though, lightsaber combat is actually looking good this time around. Here's hoping it delivers.

The PC Versions of the Star Wars games run fine, but the console version of Jedi Knight were terrible, framerate was all over. They have no exucse though, the Xbox can run Halo at a steady framerate and yet Lucasarts can't get Jedi Knight, running off the age-old Quake 3 engine with no fancy bump mapping or anything, to run properly?

That said, Battlefront, in single player at least, ran silky smooth on the Xbox no matter how much was going on.

Now we seem to have moved beyond the already cooky concept of the "exclusive first look" at the trailer to Episode III after the OC and right into scarier waters. I saw a commercial on FOX advertising the special sneak peak look at the Episode III game during the night nascar race this Saturday(April 23rd). I never thought Id live to see the day when a tv station was hyping up a video game commercial, apparently in order to try and get people to watching racing. You know your a little too into Star Wars if youll watch or tape a three hour sporting event you hate to watch a simulated clip of a movie.
