I love HMV. Pure and simple. I don't know about anyone else, but in my city, there having their Annual "Monster Sale". And damn, they have some good deals.
This is what I have bought in the past week there:

Texas Chainsaw Masscare SE + Evidence Pictures + Collectible Metal Face Plate -- $10.99
Donnie Darko -- $6.99
Jeepers Creepers 2 -- $9.99
Black Christmas SE -- $8.99
Ginger Snaps -- $4.99
Ginger Snaps II -- $7.99

I already had GS and GS2, but hell, at that cheap, whats another copy.

I'm a huge fan of HMV myself, they always have some of my favourite movies on sale for dirt cheap. I bought Blue Velvet for 2.99, Alien for 3.99, and An American Werewolf in London for 6.99.

The thing about HMV is the dvd prices are always above what Future Shop or Wal-Mart is selling them for most of the year anyways. A cd you can get at Future Shop for 9.99 you can get at HMV for 18.99. It's great however when they can do a deal like this, once a year. I myself did pick up Thin Red Line for 7.99 and Lost Highway for 10.99.
Too bad the rest of the year the prices are jacked up, at least in my neck of the woods.

Where the fuck in Canada are you? Those are some damn good deals. HMV around here is generally pretty cheap, but nothing like that!

I'm in Toronto. There is a huge HMV mega store downtown, if these deals are all over Canada then I might have to go check it out.

Yeah, seriously. I've been going to the Toronto Megastore for years and have never seen deals like that! I always miss stuff like this. Right after class Im running down to check it out...and i expect killer deals...or somone will pay...pay dearly.

Beware of the sale, for some of the cheap stuff is the Fullscreen version of a certain DVD. The Widescreen copy of some flicks are still at the normal price.

Actually, none of my DVD's purchased have been Full Screen. I always check before I buy.
