Anyone here a fan of this Steve Miner horror/comedy ? I just got it and House 2. I have yet to watch House 2 but if it's anything like the first (which I doubt) then I might be in for something.
I thought house was worth my time, I was happy with it. Some cool monsters and scares. I like the whole Jacob's Ladder + Evil Dead + Amityville feel to it. The commentary wasn't bad either, first time I got to hear Sean S. Cunninghams voice.
So what do the rest of you think?

I don't like it. Too much of a comedy. Didn't feel anything like Amitteyville to me.

I love this movie, probably one of my favorite horror/comedies. The whole cast is great, and there are some actual scares! House 2 is waaaayy different, its pretty much just a comedy, but I enjoyed it. Its like Return of the Living Dead Part 2 is to The Return of the Living Dead.

Love it! The Vietnam Vet zombie used to give me the creeps!
Its part of my William Katt collection - next to Big Wednesday and ... oh

It's alright, not great, but worth a look. But it didn't feel anything like Amityville to me, either, that's like comparing apples and pineapples.

I loved House, but hated House 2. Wasn't Bill Maher in 2?
