I just watched the Trailer (http://movies.apple.com/movies/sony_pictures/the_forgotten/the_forgotten_m480.mov) for The Forgotten and im a bit befuddled is this a horror film?? or a thriller??
im unsure from the trailer but it did look interesting which ever it is

I bet it will be just a thriller. They did the same kind of weird marketing with THE MISSING a while ago where people were also confused if it's a horror film but in the end it was just a western. :rolleyes:

I was with it because it looked a bit sci-fi-y, but then they pretty much jettison any notion that Julianne Moore is insane with the introduction of some loony scheme... weak.

I'm actually excited about this film. A short while back there was a positive review on AICN which got my hopes up.

The TV spots as of late have been showing more and more of what this movie is about. I'm a fan of Moore's, so hopefully this will be decent and receive some good buzz.

I'm genuinely interested in this film. Based on the ads, I doubt it'll be something like THE MISSING or THE VILLAGE (both of which baited-and-switched the audience with horror-style ads).

And I want to pound Julianne Moore like a tent stake.

Anytime I see a movie with an interesting trailer and premise, I'm always afraid it's just going to be another from the bag of surprise endings. I bet it's a dream or everything's in her head and she's in a mental hospital.
