Unexpected Sex Scenes

This arises from the fact I recently saw Atarnajuat: The Fast Runner. This is a low budget indie movie about an old Inuit folk tale. Pretty good film all told, especially the way Atarnajuat's wife calls his name (!).

Anyway, to my great surprise there are not one but two sex scenes in this (in igloos no less). I found it amazing, in light of the fact there hardly seems to be any sex in movies these days, that a low budget movie dealing with eskimo legends would have two.

So, I thought it would be interesting if Chewers listed movies that turned out to have sex scenes when you would least expect it.

I remember watching a movie on cable called "Wild Side" with Christopher Walken and Anne Heche. It's a crime thriller with Walken as a crazyman menacing prostitute Anne Heche. The entire movie comes to a halt at around the 40 minute mark, so Anne Heche can have a fairly graphic lesbian sex scene with former Twin Peaks actress Joan Chen. That was . . . odd.

I remember seeing Frida for the first time and finding it odd that the scene in which she is writing to Diego in Paris, there is a lesbian scene between Frida and a french entertainer......but now that I think of it, maybe it was commenting on something and I missed the point!
