Yesterday I was wondering around in the local Hobby Town store looking at the selection of table-top games when I came across a game called Zombies!! and it's various expansion sets. The game was very reasonable priced for a game that comes with over 100 minatures, and I was wondering if anyone had played this game? It looked fun just based on the packaging. I even saw a bag of 100 zombie figures sold with the expansions. It made me think back to when as a kid you could buy those bags of green army men. If anyone has any thoughts on this game, I'd appreciate it. If I break down and buy it, I'll post my thoughts here for those that have no clue what I'm talking about.

Played it a bunch of times, it's great fun. Better if you make up your own rules, though.

Very fun game. Played it many times, even with those that didn't really follow the rules.

Played it a bunch of times, it's great fun. Better if you make up your own rules, though.

They came out with an expansion pack to add your own cards. Pretty cool.

I made all my friends do the zombie moan every time they had to move a zombie.

Me and my friends play Zombies!! every time we get together because watching movies and playing poker gets old after a while but Zombies and things like the Mall and Military base expansions never get boring.

Don't forget you can also get the "Bag'o'Zombie" 100 glow in the dark zombie ^_^

This game is loads of fun.

I love this game too, its all about screwing over friends and family members as their about to escape in the helicopter. OOPS! Place 10 zombies anywhere on map! Sorry!

Fun game. Nothing like shotgun blasting the undead with your kids. I need to get off my ass and get one of the add-on packs.

I'm too lazy to track it down, but I think Creature Corner did a review of it a year or so ago.

I love this game.
Played it alot over the winter....

A certain "Girlcreeture" picked me up the entire game and expansion packs for Christmas.

Went on a ski trip for a week with friends soon after and we played all night every night.

Though with all of the expansion packs added onto the core set. 2 games can TAKE ALL NIGHT!

Def buy it...

Yahoo! has a group devoted to Zombies!!! the Game. There's a section with alternate rules including some for a solitaire scenario.

Click on the Groups link and type Zombies in the search field.

BTW, yesterday, I was watching the Roger Avary commentary on Day of the Dead, and he mentioned that he used to have a Dawn Of the Dead boardgame! Seriously, how cool is that, huh?
