I was reading through the posts in the thread about being banned by the "Dolls" guy and wanted to comment. I believe, correct me if I'm wrong here, that it takes a special something to be banned. Lord knows I've felt there were times I could have been banned, but wasn't. I suspect that abuse is the primary factor. In other words, you cause those whose responsibility it is to monitor or maintain the boards some degree of effort and attention that makes work for them, you will be banned. For example, if I post picture after picture that is draining resources, or if I become abusive in a manner that affronts, I will be banned.
Why am I mentioning any of this? I don't know, really, just that it seems some have a degree of interest in the process, and I just want to throw my 2 cents into the mix.
All of us have a responsibility to maintain ourselves within certain civilized boundaries. In here, those boundaries are much more relaxed than they are in the "real world" so I suspect it takes effort to get oneself banned.
